During the blessed month of Ramadan, UK Medical Aid Pakistan (UKMAP) supported vulnerable communities in Pakistan by helping provide essential food assistance to families struggling with financial hardship.
Working in partnership with Comprehensive Disaster Response Services (CDRS), Ramadan Family Food Packs were distributed to deserving households in Usta Muhammad, Balochistan, and Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In Usta Muhammad, 84 Ramadan Family Food Packs were delivered to families facing severe economic challenges. A further 84 ration packs were distributed in Abbottabad. In total, 168 Ramadan food packs reached approximately 1,000 individuals, helping ensure that families could observe the holy month with dignity and peace of mind.
We also extended our support to Karachi and Punjab, where 125 ration packs were distributed in Karachi, Sindh, and another 125 in different parts of Punjab, further reaching families in need across different regions.
For many households, this support meant far more than just food supplies. It provided reassurance to parents worried about preparing Sehar and Iftar, brought comfort to children gathering for meals with their families, and offered hope to communities facing ongoing hardship.
UKMAP’s generosity and commitment to humanitarian service made this initiative possible. Through the support of donors and partners, UKMAP continues to transform compassion into meaningful action, delivering relief to those who need it most.
We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to this effort. Their kindness ensured that the spirit of Ramadan reached families who needed it most.
