Location: Various villages, District Usta Mohammad, Balochistan
Project Description:
On the same date, UKMAP also carried out a major ration pack distribution across multiple villages in District Usta Mohammad, one of Balochistan’s most resource-scarce and underserved areas. Communities here face chronic poverty, weak infrastructure, and limited access to basic services.
Working closely with local leaders and CDRS field teams, UKMAP ensured that ration packs reached those in greatest need, including families with no stable income, large households, and those affected by previous shocks such as crop failures or illness.
Beneficiaries: 128 families
Impact:
This intervention helped stabilise food access for 128 families, supporting their daily nutritional needs and avoiding further deterioration in already precarious living conditions. The careful and respectful delivery approach upheld recipients’ dignity and reinforced trust between UKMAP, CDRS, and local communities.
