Access to clean drinking water remains a critical challenge in Pakistan, with over 70% of the rural population lacking access to safe water sources. This crisis directly impacts the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), which aims to ensure availability and sustainable management of water for all by 2030. Medical Aid to Pakistan aligns its mission with SDG 6, actively working to provide sustainable access to safe drinking water in rural communities.
